“I am especially grateful to Dr. Crane for the care and concern he showed when I developed breast cancer. It was 5 years ago when I discovered the lump. Mammograms and ultrasound exams did not show evidence of the tumor. The radiologist and gynecologist recommended that I have those tests repeated in 6 months. Dr. Crane disagreed and he called me on a Saturday morning to advise me to schedule a biopsy instead. It was a very aggressive form of cancer which was treated promptly. Thanks to Dr. Crane, I am fine now. I feel very fortunate to have such an excellent doctor.” ~ E.R.
“Communication is the most important thing in a patient-doctor relationship. Dr. Richard Crane communicates exceedingly well. I’ve never asked him a question he couldn’t answer. He reads the reports other doctors send him and asks me any questions when he needs to know more. I try to answer any question he asks me. No fibbing or lying. Keep it honest – he does. I believe Dr. Crane to be one fine doctor. I’ve been a patient for 15 years. I don’t do anything for 15 years unless I’m happy and satisfied with the results.” ~ E.C.
“I first met Dr. Crane in the ER of the old Brunswick hospital. He admitted me and began treating me. After only a couple of office visits we found the source of my problem and YEARS of suffering came to an end. With his help, patience and guidance, I am probably as healthy as I have ever been. So, by choice, Dr. Richard Crane will be my doctor as long as I live. I also love Michael who draws my blood at Atlantic Internal Medicine!” ~ N.P.
“Dr. Crane has kept me well in all cases, seeing me when necessary. He has functioned professionally at all times.” ~ L.H.
“Dr. Crane is a caring and wonderful physician who will work you into his busy schedule. He has always provided my husband and I with the best of care and for this we are extremely grateful to have him as our doctor for 15 years.” ~ M.C.
“No one could have been any better to my husband after he was diagnosed with cancer than Dr. Crane! You were always there to help us. We knew our move to you was a good one! In my heart I know that you are the best doctor and care about your patients.” ~ C.B.
“I just want to stay healthy and to be here for my kids and my family. I’m glad that I was referred to Atlantic Internal Medicine.” ~ K.J.
“In 2001 I developed a severe and painful condition. Doctors could not figure out my problem. I went to Dr. Crane and he found the source of my illness. It has been 17 years and I am doing very well. Dr. Crane was way ahead of medical technology then…and I’m living proof that he still is.” ~ R.P.
“We have been patients of Dr. Crane for many years and have always received the very best care from both he and his entire staff. We made the decision to stay with Dr. Crane because of this and mainly because we know we will see Dr. Crane each and every time we have an appointment. We like knowing that we are getting the best care and are not “just a number” as it seems to be the “the norm” in a lot of the larger practices in the area.” ~ J & D B.
“I have been a patient of Dr. Crane’s for 16 years and I have full confidence in his knowledge of the medical field. Whenever I needed him I was able to get an appointment within a reasonable time. Recently, I had A-fib and on my way to Novant Brunswick Medical Center I texted my symptoms to Dr. Crane and got an immediate response from him. We stayed in contact with each other throughout the day. I was admitted overnight and 7:45am the next day Dr Crane was at my bedside discussing what to do next.” ~ R.S.
“Dr. Crane has been my physician for over 12 years. I was fortunate to have found him. He embodies those characteristics we all fondly hope to find in our doctors – that is the ability to truly listen and to then honestly interact with you. One follows his directions because he has persuaded you, not directed you. Although I am only one among many, I look upon Dr. Crane as not only my physician, but my friend. And his approach to medicine is reflected in his warm and caring staff. Courtesy and respect are their watchwords. The Norman Rockwell painting of the kindly old GP with a stethoscope to a Teddy Bear to please a young patient is our vision and hope for our physicians – Dr. Crane and staff flesh out that charming picture.” ~ W.S.
“I first heard about Dr. Crane about 12 years ago. A friend who was his patient spoke so highly of the doctor and his staff that I called for an appointment. From that first professional visit, where he gave of his time so we could talk, I knew I had found the perfect doctor for my husband and me. To these many years later, I feel the same way, in that every visit makes such a positive impression, starting with his friendly and very helpful staff to Dr. Crane’s willingness to talk and, more importantly, listen. Whenever the need arises I look forward to my appointment and time with him. I have never felt rushed or unimportant. He has helped me through a few rough times and has always been right on with his diagnosis and solving my problem. That means more to me than these words can express. I think of him with great respect – a man with a wonderful sense of humor, the skill to heal, keep me well and happy.” ~ B.S.
“I was fortunate to find Dr. Crane when I moved to the area 13+ years ago. I knew after my first checkup that I was in good hands; he is very sharp, detail oriented but still personable and gives each visit the time it needs. I have health conditions that require me to see specialists regularly. Dr. Crane keeps up with all of this and makes sure he isn’t missing any correspondence. When something unexpected occurs he has always worked me in. I’ll never forget a personal call from him after 5pm on a Friday to let me know my lab results. It is truly comforting to know I have a doctor of this caliber in our area for my wife, oldest son and myself.” ~ R.D.
“I have been a patient of Dr. Crane’s for over 6 years. It’s been a great relationship for many reasons. Dr. Crane is an excellent diagnostician. He has been right about all of my problems and knows when to send me to a specialist. His support is unwavering. The office staff is terrific. It is great to have happy people greeting and treating me. That doesn’t happen much these days. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great practice for my medical needs. ” ~C.J.
“Dr. Crane and I crossed paths approximately 12 years ago when I was put in ICU for severe alcoholism. He then became my primary doctor and helped me get sober, which I’ve been for 12 years now. Since then he helped me through 3 strokes, Stage IV throat cancer, a shattered ankle, Lyme’s disease and various other issues. I consider Dr. Crane more of a very good friend other than a doctor. I would confidently recommend him to anyone. Thanks Dr. Crane for everything you have done for me!!!” ~F.B.
